答案
What this business would be
Iwant to open a small business. It will be a place for kids to go afterschool, a kind of childcare centre in the neighborhood. My towndesperately needs a place like this.
How you would start/open this business
Honestly,I have no idea how to manage it yet. But common sense tells me that thekey to starting a successful business is to develop a thoughtfulbusiness plan and then get the necessary financial support. But unlikeother businesses, this caregiving business would be a non-profitorganization. So I would contact some local non-profit organizationsand talk with them to see if they can help me in any way.
How you would run this business
Therewill be food, video games, pinball, and a dance floor. I will also havetutors to help with homework and stuff. The business would operate on amembership scheme, I mean those who want to join us have to registerand pay a small amount of fee first.
and explain why you would like to run this kind of business.
Iwould like to start this business because first of all, there’s greatdemand around my neighborhood. A typical school day in China normallyends at 4p.m. but the working hours for most parents is from 9 a.m. to6 p.m. The centre will be a good place to the children to stay in untiltheir parents come to pick them up after work. Also I just love kidsand enjoy seeing them grow. One of my friends works as a kindergartenteacher. She said that it was so much fun working with children. Theyare cute, and very trusting....it is truly a very promising andworthwhile career--very rewarding as well....

1.What kinds of small business are most popular in China?
Oneof the popular small businesses here in China is to set up an onlinecompany. You can sell anything from clothes, antiques to usedfurniture. The investment is much lower and you could work anytime andanywhere if you have the internet connection. The process could also befully automated as the technology is mature.
2.Why do some people open their own business?
Thebenefits are pretty obvious, such as ‘being you own boss' and nothaving to report to someone for anything you do. Your time is you own, though you will probably find having your own business takes far moreof your time than if you were having a ‘job'.

3.What challenges and difficulties do people face when they try to have a successful small business?
Thereis the initial startup cost, but the biggest challenge is getting thepublic to believe in you and the quality of your product or service.Another challenge is proper use of your time. You can be verysuccessful spending your time doing the right things, but most of usare not successful because we don't know what things to focus on and inwhat sequence.
4.What do you think is the most important factor when choosing a job or career?
Itdepends on the individual circumstances. Interest is definitelyimportant, however as you get older you will really see money plays aimportant role. For example, if you have a family to support, yoursalary becomes more important than the other factors. But foruniversity graduates, the opportunity to learn and practice weighs morethan things like salary or working hours.
5.Do you think it is good to change your job frequently?
Idon't’ think it’s a good idea to make a general statement of sayingit’s good or bad. As an employer, I think that a person who changesjobs frequently is unstable and not responsible for his/her team. However,I think a person who stays at the same job forever isunmotivated. I would like to see people who change their jobs untilthey find a better fit or career advancement.
