  众所周知,雅思口语考试分三部分:第一部分是简单的日常交流,第二部分是考生的个人独白,第三部分是对第二部分话题的深入讨论,难度依次递增。从备考角度来看,如果大家口语目标不超过6分,备考的重点应该放在Part 1和Part 2,如果口语想考6.5分及以上,备考的重点要放在Part 3上(当然前提是Part1和Part2基本不成问题)。

  但对于所有考生来讲Part3都是一只强大的拦路虎,原因有两点:

  第一,这部分虽然考试形式和Part1一样,但却比Part1抽象好多,问的都是一些关于公众的问题;

  第二,Part1和Part2,我们都有题库,只要认真准备,把题库过一遍,肯定能碰到原题,但Part3无法预测,因为考官会根据你的回答随机发问,即使是同一个考官,同一个话题,面对不同的考生,可能提问都不同,造成无法备考,因此很多学生都栽在Part3,考了好多次都很难有所突破。那么Part3到底该怎么备考呢?有没有有效的学习方法呢?

  在回答这个问题前咱们必须先纠正一下中国考生在Part 3这块儿遇到的一个认知误区:反正我的口语目标不超过6分,把前两部分答好就行了,Part3随便说几句就行。如果这样想就大错特错,试想:我们整理出的题库难道考官不知道?他们当然非常清楚,对于Part1和Part2,中国考生一定会认真准备,所以他们会额外关注Part3,因为这部分最能测试出考生语言能力,如果三部分表现差别不是很大,且Part3答得很好,基本就是高分,但如果前两部分和Part3表现差距太大,Part1和Part2答得超级流利,Part3说不几句话,基本很难超过5分。笔者有几个学员就是如此。所以,无论你的目标是几分,请务必重视Part3,即使没有时间准备,考场也尽可能去多说。

  有些同学可能说现在我们也知道Part3这块儿在考场应该多说,那我就是说不出来咋办?造成这个问题的原因通常有两个:第一,你的语言组织能力有问题。也就是说,如果用汉语你能够回答得很好,但是用英语就是表达不出来,如果是这种情况,你需要做的是先踏踏实实夯实自己的内功,练习表达,提升流利度,没有这个做基础,什么方法都是白搭。记住:内功+绝招=天下无敌;无内功+只练绝招=走火入魔。第二,没思路。就是说如果我有思路,我能够很准确地表达自己的想法,但就是没有思路。这种考生如果加上方法的点拨,进步就很明显,大部分能够短期实现口语分数突破的考生大多属于此类。笔者接下来要谈的Part3的备考方法也仅仅适用于有一定语言组织能力的考生,也就是Part1和Part2基本能够应对,需要在Part3寻求突破的考生。

  通过长期的教学实践,笔者发现Part 3题目千变万化,但总的来讲,也就五类核心话题:原因题,观点题,对比题,方案题和种类题。如果我们能够对这五类题目各建立起一个答题模型,并且能够熟练使用,这样考场上就能更加轻松应对。

  一

  原因题

  提问方式:Why...?

  解题模型:1.给出观点;2.解释原因;3.举个例子。

  例题示范:

  --Why do people like to keep pets?

  --Well,I think one of the main reasons is that keeping pets can reduce people's loneliness,especially for the elders.(给出观点)

  You know,in China,there are more and more old people,whose children are so busy with their work that they can not accompany them,and pets,especially the dogs, are just like their family members.(解释原因)

  For example,when they go back home,the pets will welcome them with their waving tail,which will bring them great happiness.(举个例子)

  二

  观点题

  提问方式:1.Do you think.....? 2.Should....? 3.Is....?

  解题模型:1.观点;2.让步。....Although....3.重审观点。...I still...4.解释...because...5.举例(备选)

  例题示范:

  --Do you support doing experiment on animals?

  --Well,personally,I do support that.(观点)

  Although some people think it is cruel to do experiment on animals..(让步)

  I still insist that we should use animals to do experiment.(重申观点)

  because animals and humans have many things in common,we can use the animals to help us cope with numerous human problems,especially in medicine area.(解释)

  三

  对比题

  提问方式:What's the difference between...and...?

  解题模型:1.总述差异:There are several differences between them...

  2.分述差异:Firstly,...compared with...Besides,...compared to..What's more,...unlike....

  例题示范:

  --What's the difference between eating at home and eating at restaurant?

  --Well,there are several differences between them(总述差异)

  Firstly,unlike eating at restaurant ,eating at home is more money-saving ,While compared to eating at home,eating at restaurant is more convenient,you don't need to do the dishes after meals.What's more,you will have more options when eating at restaurant .(分述差异)

  四

  方案题

  提问方式:1.How to/can...? 2.What should we do to...?

  解题模型:1.给方案。It would be really helpful if....2.说现状。You know,nowadays...3.明措施。I think if ...

  例题示范:

  --What should we do to protect endangered animals?

  --It would be really helpful if the government can enact some laws to protect those endangered animals(给方案)

  You know,nowadays,many endangered animals,especially the wild animals are being killed as food,medicine to make money(说现状)

  I think if the government can enact laws to punish those who kill animals and improve people's awareness,this situation will be improved.(明措施)

  五

  种类题

  提问方式:What kinds/types/sorts of ....?

  解题模型:1.总:Well,many kinds of.....2.分:such as../like...3.细:especially.../particularly...4.例:for example....

  例题示范:

  --What kinds of courses are useful for university students?

  --Well,I think many kinds of courses are useful for college students(总)

  such as courses about time management,computers and spoken English(分)

  especially the spoken English course,which is the most useful for them I think(细)

  if the students can speak perfect English,they could travel around the world without any difficulty(例)

  补充说明一点,对于Part3,只有思路还不够,更重要是能够把这些思路按照一定顺序组织起来,也就是评分标准中的连贯性,上面补充的这些解题模型能够很好解决这个问题,如果大家只是看看,对你来讲基本没用,如果你们能够主动找到相关类别的题目,结合模型反复训练,有所体会,肯定会有所提升!
