Describe your favorite season
Of these four seasons, I like summer most. For each student, when it comes to summer, it means the end of a semester and we can go out with friends, having a lot of fun. It is a great holiday for me. In summer, the weather is so hot that I can swim in the pond. I have affection for swimming cause it can not only shape my body but also give me a good chance to make friends. In addition, I can wear little and fish along the riverside. It is the most interesting thing I like to do in summer.
An unforgettable travel experience in your childhood
It was the first time that I had been to YueYang when I was 10 years old. I spend the summer vacation there with my cousins. On the first day, my aunt took us to the biggest amusement park in YueYang. We got up very early that morning. I was very excited to go to the amusement park because I had never been there. When we stood at the entrance, we saw a foreigner, tall and wearing a pair of glasses. Nervous and shy as I was, I walked to him silently. After a deep breath, I finally said to him, “hello, nice to meet you.” At first, he was so shocked, then he smiled and replied me, “hi, glad to meet you.” Although it was a short talk, all my cousins envied me and praised me a lot. It was so unforgetatable that I talked to a foreigner firstly.
An object you bought but disliked
When I was in Midddle School, tape recorder was very prevalent. In our class, nearly every student had a recorder. At that time, it was also important for us to learn English. We can listen to some English tapes and correct our prounounciation. Therefore, I bought one with all of my pocket money. In the beginning, I loved it so much that i took it to school everyday. On my way home or before going to bed, i would like to turn on the recorder to listen to sons. A few days later, i found it inconvenient for me to take it everywhere. It was so heavy and the battery ran out so quickly. Gradually, i left it at home and did not take it to school often. Till now, I seldom use it. I just listen to MP3. Tape recorder is no longer useful to me.
An unusual job
It is unrealistic for me to experience all kinds of work companies can offer, so describing an unusual job may be a rather tough task. According to the definition, unusual, I would easily come to a conclusion that all professions in a normal corporation can’t be classified as unusual. So a voluntary worker seems to feed the taste. A friend of mine has been working as a voluntary worker since he graduated from university. Then he travelled through provinces and cities, finding a job, fitting in the customs, feeling the life and kept moving on. The job offers accommodation but no money, yet he loves it. He is continuing this unusual lifestyle produced by an unusual job, and less because of his preference towards the kind of job than because of the fervor towards life. So I compare voluntary worker as the people who won’t waste any moments.
Describe your way of communication
There is an increasing number of ways to communicate with others, such as e-mail, QQ, and talk face to face. When it comes to me, i prefer to use e-mails. It is not so direct and i can say something that i can’t say face to face. Firstly, it is so convenient that i can send an email anytime, without being worried if it would disturb others. In addition, something can not be spoken out face to face. I can express it in my email. For example, when i have a quarrel with my friend and later i find i am totally wrong. But it is shameful for me to express my apologize to her. It is better to send an email, which can avoid a lot of embarrassment. So that is why i like to choose it.
